The two most common mistakes
- Golf 7 is different from Golf 5 and Golf 6. Units for the Golf 5 / Golf 6 and other older VW models do not fit a Golf 7 (MK7, 2013–2020), and Golf 7 units do not fit older VW models.
- Audi A4 / A5 B8 and Q5: low or high? “Low” cars have no factory navigation; “high” cars have the factory MMI navigation with the larger screen. The unit must match your car.
