BMW Android Radio Fitment Guide – Which Erisin Unit Fits My BMW?

Every Erisin unit is made for a specific BMW model and iDrive system. This guide helps you find the right one in three steps: find your chassis code, check your iDrive system, and pick the driving side. Each model page lists every unit that fits, newest Android version first, with live stock.

Choose your BMW

Step 1 – Find your chassis code

The chassis code (for example E90, F30, F10) is printed on the registration document in some countries, and you can read it from the VIN with any free BMW VIN decoder. The model pages above list the years for each code.

Step 2 – Check your iDrive system

  • CCC (about 2003–2009): early iDrive. The controller has a single MENU button beside it.
  • CIC (about 2008–2013): the controller is surrounded by buttons (MENU, BACK, OPTION and often RADIO, CD, NAV, TEL). Sharper 8.8″ or 10.25″ screen.
  • NBT (about 2013–2016): the controller has a touch pad on top.
  • NBT EVO (about 2016–2019): also a touch-pad controller, but the main menu shows large live tiles.

Cars without navigation (radio only, or a small 6.5″ screen) often need a different unit or cable – send us a photo first.

Step 3 – Left-hand or right-hand drive

For some models the unit comes in a left-hand and a right-hand-drive version. UK, Irish, Australian, Japanese and South African cars are right-hand drive.
